HGV Class 1 Driver

People supply are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers to work for our well known client from their distribution centre in Stevenage. You will be delivering white goods and electronics to stores around the UK. Working around 48 hours per week.

Day and Night shifts available - Shift patterns negotiable .

Key responsibilities of a HGV Class 1 Driver

• Store Deliveries - an element of handball will be required
• Using the dolly truck and tail lift
• Ensuring the safe delivery of the load
• Maintaining the highest standards at all times
• Abiding by all UK driving laws
• Some heavy lifting

The PAYE rates of pay for a HGV Class 1 Driver :

Days £17.72

Nights £18.71

Saturday £19.65

Sunday £20.69

What are we looking for in a HGV Class 1 Driver ?

• Valid CPC and DIGI card
• No more than 6 points
• No IN, DD , DR
• 6 Months experience
• Good geographical knowledge
• Over the age of 21
